I have a question. Normally when I travel I rent a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED. This has always worked great for me. Recently my rental place has added the newer 24-70mm F/2.8E ED VR to their line. As I will be travelling soon, I was wondering whether the newer version is worth the extra cash (150 for the new vs 105 for the old).
