Howeverwhat this review is meant to be is a comparison with my long-lasting Beyerdynamic DT 990s. Still going to accurately review and cover the 6XX, but since the 990s are so different in comparison, I'd like to show you my findings. Keep in mind, I've only had the 6XXs for around a week now, and have owned my 990s for around 2 1/2 years. Takethe professional’s word for it – the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro has been Ninja’s preferred pair of cans for the longest time. Do note that you will have to purchase a mic separately. Volumeis good, they are loud, but not deafening (this may be due to the fact that i am not amplifying). They are open-backed so obviously the bass isn't eye-melting (I got to try 770s at the store - the bass was obviously much more Thebiggest thing for gaming is soundstage. The 990s are good in that regard, but there are a lot of options out there. Look up mad lust envy gaming headphone guide for a look at a lot of different sets. FPS footsteps are clear but becomes muddy when multiple enemies are around. Easy to power w portables but improves with amplification. Good price value.

Youcan try Sundaras or Deva Pro. Also considering Your needs You can also try Sennheiser HD400 Pro (HD600 but with bass and slightly wider soundstage) and ATH-R70x. Also DT900 Pro X and DT 1990 Pro can be a good choice (DT990 are just mediocre). 1. Good-Foundation9996.

Ive only owned gaming headsets in my 12 years of experience.. HyperX cloud 2 (were really nice) G Pro X (also a nice pair, shitty software tho) and now the SteelSeries. Now I’ve been looking a the Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X which everyone seems to be absolutely praising. Now my questions are as so: Is the DT Pro X good for gaming?
Its a good question. Using Sonarworks SoundID Reference really does minimize the difference between MDR-7506 and DT-990 Pro. I suppose the magic is if someone enjoys the differences between headphones. It's an opportunity to experience the music differently. (Sonarworks arguably takes that away.)

Theysound nice for music too, but they aren’t nearly as crisp and detailed sounding as the 58x especially with vocals. He4xx is a good all around fun headphone but if you purely want competitive gaming, dt990 is the way to go, and maybe 58x for some games. 58x is a great all rounder and it will last you years.
TheBeyerdynamic DT 990 PRO X does an excellent job at For those of you who aren’t bass heads—or simply wish to equalize your headphones to your liking—the DT 900 PRO X is a very good pair of headphones when used Those working in other creative industries such as video production or game design will also appreciate the open-back beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO - 80 Ohm Gre, 1/4" Adapter, Drawstring Carry bag : Number of items ‎1 : Microphone format ‎with microphone : Headphones form factor TLDR; Amazing pinpoint accurate gaming headphones that are also good for music and movies. Comfortable as well. Only downside is the non detachable cable. DT990 were my favorite daily use headphones until I upgraded to the T1s. The bass is excellent and goes very low and has good impact. I have Ultrasone Pro 900 and Pro 2900 and those are better in the bass department, but they are considered more bass head which I enjoy from time to time. Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm. pdx7zOf.
