I bought the bike last fall and within the first 300 miles the bike cut out and flashed a Fuel Pump Failure Warning. I turned off the bike and opened the tank to find there was pressure/ vapor situation happening.
Sittingupright in comfort and having point and squirt power is a great combination therefore my ideal bike would be the Superduke engine in the XR chassis. That's what the 1290 S should be aiming at IMO. They've got the engine I just hope they forget off-road pretensions and match the BMW's handling.
